Knut Lundin is Professor of Medicine and Head of Clinical Education at the University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway. He is also a consultant gastroenterologist at the endoscopy unit at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet and he is one of the leading European clinicians in the field of celiac disease.
The focus of his expertise is on immunobiology (e.g. T-cell biology) and clinical aspects of the small intestine, especially in the context of celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
Prof. Lundin is an acclaimed scientist with a strong international reputation. He has published over 200 papers as original papers, reviews and book chapters and has been cited around 7.000 times in other publications.
